Pharmacist on-call
If you have been helped by a doctor at the out-of-hours medical center, you can ask the receptionist or the doctor on site which pharmacy is on duty.
They can quickly find the nearest (night) duty pharmacy.

Ophthalmologist on-call
From Friday 8PM till Monday 8 AM and on bank holidays, you can call the number of the locoregional duty service of the ophthalmologists of East-Flanders at 050 55 62 90 for urgent eye problems. You will then be connected directly to the ophthalmologist on duty.
Dentist on-call
You can contact the dental on-call service at weekends and on public holidays between 9 AM and 6 PM by calling 0903 39 969 (€1.5 per minute).

Independent nurses guarantee continuity of care, 7 days a week, including Sundays and on bank holidays. On the website you can find the contact details of the independent home care nurse per postal code: www.thuisverpleging-leuven.be (in Dutch)
There is always a duty number available 016/40.90.90, valid for the entire district of Leuven where you can place your request for care.
Wit-Gele Kruis
A simple phone call is all it takes to get a nurse from Wit-Gele Kruis to come to your home. Their service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:
- During office hours you can contact the local department, which you can found at www.witgelekruis.be.
- Outside office hours you can contact the central on-call service: 016 31 95 50.
Midwife on-call
Are you pregnant, have you just given birth, are you breastfeeding...?
Midwives and lactation consultants are available 7 days a week to advise and assist you during your pregnancy and after the birth of your baby.
It is best to contact your own midwife, as they have their own on-call service and phone number.
